Employment Week, the leading EU employment and social affairs event of the year, was held at the Management Centre Europe in Brussels on 5 and 6 June. This year there was a large Equal presence at the event and several UK Development Partnerships exhibited and showcased their work.

The two day event focused on ‘Working Europe – creating more and better jobs’. Vladimir Spidla, the EU Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities discussed the challenges and policies for Europe, providing better access to ESF programmes and improving the quality of EU communications.
