In this final issue of ESF News we look at some of the ESF success stories from the last few years and look forward to the new 2007–2013 programme which has now been agreed with the European Commission.

We catch up with people featured on previous ESF News covers to see how their successful participation in ESF projects continues to benefit them. Single mum Ciril Devereaux continues to work as a roofing technician and Kieran Venner has graduated as a chef from Jamie Oliver-inspired restaurant Fifteen Cornwall.

We look to the future of ESF with details of the new regional frameworks and we look at sustainable development in the new ESF programme.

The latest news includes the adoption of the new ESF programme and the publication of a book celebrating 50 years of the ESF.
