ESF across the UK and Europe

Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have their own ESF Programmes and you should look on their websites for more information.

EU Structural and Cohesion Funds

The Structural and Cohesion Funds are the European Union's main instruments for supporting social and economic restructuring across the EU. They include ESF and account for over one third of the European Union budget and are used to promote employment, tackle regional disparities and support regional development through actions including developing infrastructure and telecommunications, developing human resources and supporting research and development.

Information on Structural Funds across the UK is available on the website of the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform.
